New Homes For Sale in Reston, VA - Northern Virginia Condominiums, Townhomes, Condos, Builders

Condos in Reston Virginia-Town Center!
|
Reston, VA founded in 1961 by Robert E. Simon, is recognized
as America’s foremost planned community. After graduating from Harvard,
Mr. Simon sold his family’s owned property, Carnegie Hall, and purchased
6,759 acres of beautifully wooded land in Fairfax County. This
land would become Reston, Virginia
named after his initials. Simon’s planned community, or "new town,"
emphasized the quality of life for the individual, providing
an upscale environment where people could live, work and play.
Today, despite being considered one of America’s high technology
centers, Reston has kept much of its natural beauty with its intense
foliage,
lakes, ponds, and park-like ambiance. Just 6 miles from Dulles
International Airport and conveniently located next
to the Dulles Toll Road,. Reston is one
of the most sought after urban-suburban communities in the Washington
metropolitan area. The living density is approximately
one third the residential density of
surrounding townships; it's pleasant,
peaceful and relatively uncongested. Only a few new home
developments are available as Reston is almost fully developed
and real estate is at a premium.
However, the adjacent Herndon, Oakton and Great Falls areas offer
several new homebuilding opportunities.
People from all over the Washington area visit
Reston for its myriad of restaurants, shops and recreational activities.
The popular Reston Town Center features outdoor
concerts, premiere stores, dining facilities, theatres and
a Hyatt Hotel and Conference
Center. Reston, Virginia area real estate is “par excellence,” community-oriented
and a wonderful place to raise
a family.
There is one new condominium community now
selling called Midtown East Condos. Sales began in
early February 2004. The adjacent Paramount condos recently sold- out in just a few weeks with prices ranging from $500,000 to 1.3 million dollars. Midtown East condominiums are currently available for from the $73O's and are selling at record breaking levels attracting those interested in the Reston Town Center lifestyle. Contact Builders' Realty Council at 703-314-4314 for general information and special financing on condominiums available at the Reston Town Center.
